Our children’s Sunday School classes begin at 8:45am in the multi-purpose room. For 15 minutes we welcome the children, play games, make announcements, and sing songs. At 9:00am the children are led to their classrooms for bible study. Our kids will continue using The Gospel Project Kids curriculum this year. There are many great features of this curriculum, but one of the best is that each lesson corresponds with the adult curriculum. This means that all of our parent’s classes will be studying the same passage of scripture as our children each week. This is a tremendous help since we try to make discipleship a family effort.
Children ages 0 to 2 are lovingly cared for by volunteers during the worship service. The nursery is located outside the rear entrance of the sanctuary.
Little Kids’ Church
Children ages 3-PreK have Little Kids’ Church during the Sunday morning service taught by volunteers. Little Kids’ Church includes songs, games, Bible lesson, prayer, and crafts and meets in the 3’s-PreK Classroom.
Children K-2nd grade are invited to join us in Children’s Church during our Sunday morning worship service. All children are encouraged to attend the music portion of the worship service, and then are dismissed to Children’s Church during the welcome. Children’s Church includes songs, crafts, a Bible lesson, and games, and meets in the Children’s Multi-Purpose Room near the Fellowship Hall Entrance.
Each Sunday, Calvary Kids provides Sunday School classes for babies through 5th Grade. The curriculum introduces children to biblical stories, concepts, and doctrine. Each child will learn about the great stories of the Bible and how it applies to their life. This is a wonderful time for kids to learn about our great God in a setting that is specific to their age.
